The only option for single women seems to be:

Grab your twenties by the balls, play the dating “game,” and do you.

Are those my options: jump into marriage or jump into short-term relationships?

                I don’t want a marriage-ready relationship tomorrow and I don’t want a casual one that’s going nowhere.
             But: there’s no other option.

And that’s complete bullshit. This live-selfishly-on-the-whims-of-your-soul, it’s appealing. Maybe it’ll work for you.

But I’m no longer afraid to say I’m not satisfied.

I don’t want to be married at twenty-one,
but I don’t want to be the twenty-one-year-old I’m then “supposed to be.”
