Eek.

      Third-to-last post, of this round anyway.
      Something I heard today resonated and just stuck:

it’s not about fairness;
it’s about faithfulness.

(disclaimer: those seven not included in my one hundred)

                             The context is irrelevant; this applies to all of life.

                                        It’s not fair your boss gets credit for your work,
                                     it’s not fair your friend cancels last minute,
                                 it’s not fair God hasn’t rewarded your “good choices.”

But faithfulness rises above fairness:
  so you work, without recognition.
  So you reschedule, without reluctance.
  So you move forward, without reward.

       Life isn’t meant to be fair (disclaimer: unfair does not equal unjust).
                            Faithfulness isn’t meant to be conditional.
