First and foremost, listen to this while reading.
I’m sure you’ve met women.
You know, the women labeled hard to handle or strong-willed
or, heaven forbid, i-n-d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t.
(Yes; I know what that mean.)
I used to think there were two types of guys:
1. Those who could handle an independent woman
2. Those who couldn’t
I used to think back on previous relationship—admittedly, there aren’t many—and wishfully thought if only they’d had the balls to handle me.
But I’ve recently concluded I was wrong.
Don’t misunderstand: There are definitely only two types of guys (calm down, boys; there’s only two types of women, too).
But I’ve amended my list:
1. Those who see women as hard to handle
2. Those who see women
To the Number Two Man, independent women aren’t intimidating or problematic or too much because he’s independent, too.
Her independence isn’t something tolerated; it’s shared.
Her attributes aren’t accepted; they’re understood.
Don’t wait for the man who can handle you.
wait for the man who knows you’re not something to be handled.
